Mobile Sawmilling
We can fell the tree, mill the butt, air dry or kiln dry the timber, design and make the finished article from your timber. Timber conversion using the Autotrek mobile bandsaw mill. British designed and built, the Autotrek uses wide bandsaw technology with 101 mm (4") wide blades with optional stellite tips (remains sharper in abrasive timbers) to allow all timbers (including Greenheart) to be cut accurately and efficiently up to 1000 mm wide.
Contract Sawmilling The Autotrek is available for contract hire to convert customers round timber in situ. The mobility of the Autotrek allows for low impact, sustainable forestry operations for the tree that has fallen or has to come down, maintaining the biodiversity. Specialising in small estate woodland operations.

Environmental Credentials
Most of our timber comes from certificated sources. Much of the timber is local, we are situated in one of the largest broad leaved area in the country.
We have a policy of using the whole tree. The brush and brash is chipped for mulch. The main butt is graded for planks and beams. Substantial boughs can be converted into crooks and swept beams for timber framing.
Off cuts (falling boards and slabwood) are converted into firewood. Slabwood also supplies green naturally edged wood turning blanks.
